Gibraltar Falls

Last weekend, I went out to Gibraltar Falls with my mate 'Higgo' (and my brother) to try out some slow shutter speed shots of moving water. It was a spur of the moment idea, and I didn't even bring a tripod (really bad call), but some of them turned out half decent for my first attempt.

For those who don't know, opening the shutter on the camera for longer whilst you are taking a picture will result in bluring any moving objects. This technique is great for taking pictures of things like waterfalls, as it will give a nice smooth appearance to the flowing water:
